Are you a tourism business in the North Wessex Downs? Do you think we could achieve more as a tourism destination if we all worked together a bit more? Do you want to know how to communicate more effectively to your customers?
For our fourth and final tourism workshop in the North Wessex Downs area, we are very lucky to have Manda Brookman from the Cornwall Sustainable Tourism Project (CoaST) as our keynote speaker. With nearly 2,500 business members CoaST is one of the finest examples of a tourism business network in the UK. It represents, through its online network, members as diverse as cake-makers to photographers, campsites to recycling collectors, community groups, hotels, colleges, universities, beach cafes, designers and beer brewers.
Its mantra? To make sure tourism fires up social, economic and environmental 'Good Stuff' for us all.
Jayne Manley, Chief Executive of Earth Trust will also be presenting on the day. Jayne says: “We offer everyone, of any age, special life-changing experiences that are fulfilling, look after our environment, and are highly desirable and fun!”
Come along to the event at The Earth Trust, Little Wittenham, Oxon on Tuesday 26 March (10:30am – 4.00pm). Admission is £10 and includes lunch and a tour round the Earth Trust Centre and grounds.
