Nature Ridge Project Development Manager
Do you enjoy working in partnership and want to make a difference to the recovery of two iconic chalk National Landscapes and a National Trail, especially for wildlife and heritage in the face of climate change? Nature Ridge Landscape Connections project (NRLC) is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund through the Landscape Connections programme.
This aims to put landscapes into recovery, supporting habitats and species alongside rich cultural heritage in better connected, working landscapes and to enable people to connect with nature and the environment. This phase will develop and explore ideas and opportunities, establish a wider Partnership and put together and submit the Development Application on behalf of the North Wessex Downs and Chilterns National Landscapes and the Ridgeway National Trail to be submitted by Spring 2028.
We are looking for a talented person, passionate about our chalk landscapes for the role of Nature Ridge Project Development Manager.
Salary: £39,862 – £41,771 per annum
Hours per week: 37 hours
Fixed term: Until March 2028

Landscape Enhancement Initiative Project Support Officer
This £1.2 million project is funded by National Grid’s Landscape Enhancements Initiative. The project is working with 20 farms in the North Wessex Downs Southern Streams Farmer Group in Wiltshire who will benefit from landscape enhancements. The project will have a huge impact on the landscape within the North Wessex Downs. It will help with nature recovery, as well as enabling more people to enjoy the health benefits of access to the countryside.
We are looking for a Project Support Officer who will play an important role in delivery of the project.
Salary: £31,537 – £33,699 per annum
Hours per week: 37 hours
Fixed term: 18 months
Closing date: Sunday 19th July 2026 at midnight
